Wayne "John" VanderMark (nee Gould), 71, of Frankford Twsp., died Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Newton Medical Center.

Born in Sussex, John was a lifelong resident if Sussex County. He worked as a laborer for the Masons Union for many years. John enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and trapping, and he loved the peace and quiet.

Son of the late Bessie (nee VanderMark) and Donald L. Gould Sr.; John is survived by his daughter, Victoria Jean; his siblings, Donald Gould Jr. and wife, Margaret, JoAnna Oliver and husband, Steven, and Wanda Shuart and husband, Stephen; along with many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main Street, Branchville, NJ, on Thursdays, January 31, 2019, with a time of remembrance at noon. Interment to follow at Beemerville Cemetery.
